We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Pickable relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
When you sign in with Google, Google's authentication service handles your credentials. We never see your Google password.
Location is accessed only when you actively submit a post. We apply an ~80-meter random offset before storing coordinates so that your precise location (e.g., your home) is never directly visible to other users or stored exactly. We do not track your location in the background.
Photos are stored in Google Firebase Storage and are accessible by anyone who can view your post. Do not upload photos that contain private information you don't want others to see (e.g., photos that show your home address, license plates, or identifiable people who have not consented).
Note: On iPhone, iOS strips GPS metadata from photos before they are uploaded. The app will use your device's current GPS instead and show you a map preview to confirm the pin location.
Your posts and account data are retained as long as your account exists or is needed to operate the service. You can delete individual posts at any time within the app. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, email us at hello@pickable.club and we will process your request within 30 days.
Pickable is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at hello@pickable.club so we can delete it.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of your data, and to opt out of any sale of your data. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@pickable.club.
We use Google Firebase's infrastructure, which employs industry-standard security measures. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Do not post sensitive personal information through the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top. Continued use of Pickable after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
